Beate Maria Reuther
Management/Owner and Recruitment Consultant

Beate Reuther docked in July 2007 and took over as proprietor and Managing Director of DESIGNERDOCK Zurich. In 2012, she co-founded DESIGNERDOCK Switzerland Ltd. with Maya Schneeberger. Beate's professional career began 13 years earlier at Lake Constance and she's held managerial positions in Munich, Cologne and Zurich. Her beginnings lie in classic advertising, and the graduate designer has gathered the lion's share of her experience in corporate design at Interbrand Zintzmeyer & Lux in both Cologne and Zurich. Further training (CAS in Corporate Communications and a CAS in Marketing Communications), as well as varied work experience and a good understanding of people have provided her with all she needs – not only for bringing designers, agencies and companies together, but also for the placement of specialists (brand consultants, marketing experts, texters, etc.) from other branches.

Maya Schneeberger
Management and Recruitment Consultant

Maya docked in May 2011 and co-founded DESIGNERDOCK Switzerland Ltd with Beate Reuther in October 2012. Starting from scratch, she trained in graphics and design. It was during this time that she discovered a marked interest in corporate publishing and newspaper design. But first things first: It was during an internship at Integral Concept Rudi Bauer in Paris that she developed her taste for typography. At marketing and CI/CD agencies she implemented her designer finesse and became art director, responsible for all design concepts and image campaigns for the tourism sector, including Schweiz Tourismus, Zermatt Tourismus, Palace Hotel St. Moritz and Sils Maria Tourismus. Further AD stations include diverse publishers and publishing agencies, where Maya developed a founded know-how in corporate publishing, editorial design, as well as a penchant for microtypography. Aside from developing annual reports for large companies, and design concepts for well-known magazines (e.g. Persönlich and Du Kulturmagazin), customers, employees and online mags, she has built up and managed several design departments. When she's not designing, she's happily out hunting for vintage designer furniture or seeking out aesthetic input in natural surroundings or in the mountains. She's also a fabulous helpline for colleagues looking for tips about interesting and inspiring art exhibitions.
